An Isophthalic, Neopentyl Glycol, Pre-accelerated unsaturated polyester resin developed for the fabrication of high performance laminates for use in a wide range of critical applications, where good chemical and water resistance are required. DEXA™RES 993 PA bonds very strongly to un-plasticised PVC which enables the fabricator to effectively combine the chemical resistant properties of uPVC with the rigidity and heat resistance of glass reinforced plastics, enabling a wider field of application of both materials. DEXA™RES 993 PA is suitable for filament winding processes and can be applied by brush or roller. The resin is suitable for use in marine applications.
